Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Gridpin (gridpin.app) is operated by Synexly DOO Beograd ("Synexly", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through the Gridpin pilot, and why. Questions? Email [email protected].

Synexly — Jurija Gagarina 231, Belgrade, Serbia.

2. What we collect

  • Information you provide when you request a free scan: your email, name, the service area you tell us you install in, and your company name. We use the service area to run the scan you asked for.
  • Pilot customer information if you subscribe: your service area, your price per watt, your logo and a sample proposal, plus the billing contact and country our payment provider needs. We use these to produce the lists and proposals we send you.
  • Usage & device data collected automatically: pages viewed, clicks, referrer, approximate location (country/region, from your IP), and browser/device type. If you arrive from one of our campaign links, we also record the campaign identifier from the link.

3. Property and owner records

A scan produces information about buildings and, where available, the people who own them. This section is about those people, who are not our customers and have not contacted us.

For each candidate property we look up roof and solar data derived from aerial imagery, and we may buy a property record from a US property-data provider. That record can include the owner's name, mailing address, phone numbers, whether the property is owner-occupied, and Do Not Call, TCPA and litigator flags on each number. We compile this into the list we deliver to the installer who requested the scan.

We rely on our legitimate interest in providing a business prospecting service, and on the provider's own lawful basis for supplying the record. Once we deliver a list, the installer decides independently how to use it and becomes responsible for their own contact and compliance obligations — their outreach is not done by us or on our instructions.

If you are a property owner and want us to delete your record or suppress your address from future scans, email [email protected] and we will do it. We cannot recall a list already delivered, but we will tell you who received it so you can ask them directly.

4. How we use it

To run and send you the free scan you requested; to produce and deliver the pilot lists and proposals; to send the confirmation email and the product updates you signed up for; to measure how our campaigns and pages perform; and to improve the product we are building. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Payments

Pilot payments are processed by PayPal. PayPal collects your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number. We receive the billing name, email, country and payment status we need to issue your invoice and run your account. Synexly DOO Beograd is the seller and issues the invoice. See PayPal's privacy policy.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site does not use cookies, so there is no cookie banner to accept. We use PostHog to understand how visitors interact with the site; it stores a random, non-identifying visitor id in your browser's local storage so we can tell repeat page views apart, and you can clear it any time via your browser's site-data settings. PostHog data is hosted in the EU. See PostHog's privacy policy.

7. Email

We use Resend to send our welcome email, pilot deliveries and occasional product updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. See Resend's privacy policy.

8. Who else handles your data

We keep the list short and use each provider only for what it says here: a cloud hosting provider for this website, a mapping and solar data provider for roof and building data, a US property-data provider for the records described in section 3, PostHog for analytics, Resend for email, and PayPal for payments. We do not share your information with anyone else except where the law requires it.

We are based in Serbia and some of these providers are in the United States or the EU, so your information may be processed in any of those places.

9. Data retention

We keep scan-request details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and pilot records for as long as you are a customer plus the period we need for tax and accounting. Solar data derived from aerial imagery is cached for a maximum of 30 days under our provider's licence terms, except where it has already been placed into a proposal document. Analytics data is retained in aggregate for as long as it is useful for measuring and improving the campaign.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop emailing you, by contacting [email protected]. California residents have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising those rights. Where applicable law grants further rights (for example, the EU/UK GDPR or the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection), we honor those too.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do. Our terms are at gridpin.app/terms.
